World Magic titles are strictly regulated by FISM™. Only a first-prize winner is entitled to use the title of ”World Champion” along with the prize category, plus the year of its achievement (e.g., “World Champion Stage Illusions 2003” or "World Champion Card Magic 2006"). The holders of the Grand Prix awards are entitled to precede "World Champion" title -in their category since 2003- with "FISM™ Grand Prix Winner" (e.g., "FISM™ Grand Prix Winner and World Champion Manipulation 2003” or “FISM™ Grand Prix Winner and World Champion Card Magic 2003”).
